Model Home Center
Is there a Model Home Center that is open where one can visit without a sales rep. We will be coming down at the end of April to hopefully buy a house. We are working with a Villages Sales rep and an outside realtor. Both have been very helpful and patient but I would like to spend some time in a couple of the new houses just trying to get the feel of how I think we would "fit" in that particular model.

You have to be with a sales rep. Surprised they did not tell you of that policy.

There are numerous open houses every day advertised in The Daily Sun, of course there are always sales reps in these open houses.

There are sales reps in these but they won't bother you or hassle you if you tell them you are just looking. Besides, there are usually other people there that they are busy with. But they can answer all your questions.

Like DickY and Ooper said there were numerous open houses listed in The Daily Sun when we were visiting TV in July and December 2008. These were located in various neighborhoods. You can visit them without your sales rep. My wife and I did. Although there are sales reps in the open house homes, they all seemed to be very laid back. They talked to me for a few minutes and answered any questions I had.
They also have a model home center with the various different homes all together side by side but to visit that you need to contact your sales rep. |

I'm in your same position, movinsoon. When I go to open houses, I just tell the rep that I'm working with someone and just want to look around. They have always been nice about it.

LelandJane, No all the models are locked, only the Reps have keys. On our first visit which was a non-LSV, we went the next day and looked at the open houses. Also since we are looking at CYVs, and all the models are in Seneca on the same street right next to each other, we just parked and waited for a Rep to come with their group and just tagged with them. The Reps really didn't care since we didn't bother them and left the model when they did.
We also jotted down each address of the CYVs that our Rep to us too, then on the next day we also went back and walked around them, looked in windows etc. Army Guy
