Prices probably vary by distance from TV, length of use and maybe time of year.

I believe we got a quote of $3,500 from SF Bay Area (2,850 miles from TV).

We used a POD last year when we moved from CT to TV and it cost us about $2,000. The total time needed was about seven weeks.

We had one POD. About $2000 which includes three months storage. Plus $500 for professional loaders. This was about half the price of movers.

We ordered the pod and were on the road in 2 weeks.

My wife and I used Stevens Moving and Storage for our move from NJ. They're a big company, and I'm sure they have an office near you. They gave us a great price and our possessions arrived in TV damage free. We did do our own packing though, as I was a professional mover many years back and had some experience in that regard. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end.

Default don't bring everything

remember when you are relocating that you should get rid of the extraneous stuff that you really won't need in your new lifestyle. you would be amazed at the amount of 'stuff' that we all have accumulated over the years. leave the kid's report cards from elementary school behind.
and that's my opinion.

I forgot to WELCOME you....and are you really MEAN? I hope you love The Villages like we all do, find wonderful friends and interesting things to do and love the flowers and the sunny Sky's. But being from MA I bet you're gonna talk funny. Do you have a Cah? Or will you just drive around in your golf Cawt.

We Ohioans have unaccented speech.

Smart aleck Gracie.
