Just a quick update. We bought a new Iris home on 2/25 in Fernandina! We are supposed to close on 3/27!! Our plans were to buy a Begonia, but we fell in love with this home. We are spending 26 days in Orlando and 9 days at The Villages. We are counting days already! Can't wait to move in!!

MR&VAF, Please ignore my last post wondering why I hadn't heard from you, but not the part offering congrats on your purchase. We have never met although I'm looking forward to meeting you, as we will be living nearby each other. I thought you were Mary Ann and Bob who we've met in person in PA. Your screen names are rather similar and I'm on my husband's laptop which I hate. So I didn't realize I got you two confused. So, again best wishes on your purchase and look forward to meeting you in person. :coolsmiley:

Congratulations! We are building a Begonia in Fernandina. They should start the build this week! Closing day is mid May. Where in Fernandina did you buy your house? Exciting isn't it? :a040:

My husband and I are also from Pa. and hope to move to the Villages in the fall of "13". Can't wait to get away from the snow. Will be looking to buy this summer.

Congrats.. we are from Niagara Falls and have just sold our home and are planning on moving to Tv for May 1st.. Renting first then buying..Glad this is our last winter in the falls..

Go to thevillages.com -- click on Homes -- scroll to the bottom of page, you should see -- Learn how affordable it is to live in The Villages -- click on this and it should open up another pages listing most of the fees. We ordered a book from this site -
Click here for details: Don't even think about moving to The Villages without this Book!
Also we read and read on this forum for months, before purchasing.
We did the Lifestyle Preview Plan and talked to a realtor and Citizens First as well.
