Still up North
 

I'm still up North and I've just planted Oxheart tomatoes, hot peppers, red bell peppers, arugula, basil, oregano, lettuce, beets, and radishes. I've harvested my first salad last night. The combination of arugula, lettuce, and Ray's Balsalmic dressing was out of this world.

I'm hoping that when I come down there, I don't have difficulty putting in a garden.

I learned from my Grandparents that the most important step in gardening is soil preparation. You can usually grow anything well if the soil is right for what you want to grow.

So, from the op's post... Will I be able to do a small garden? Like 6 or so tomato plants/peppers and such? Or will I need to disguise them in with the flowers? That seems kind of lame, (if you need to do that) IMHO
