Default Need recommendation for Home Inspection company

We are buying a home here and need recommendations for a home inspection company.
Can you recommend one by your experience buying a pre-owned home? Thanks!

From a previous post that I saved for future use (not mine):
Inspection recommendation:
HouseMaster by Greg Simon at 352-243-4553, 877-243-4553 & web
site www.housemaster.com and email hmaster@... did an outstanding job for
us when we purchased in May 2007.
You might try searching on this website "house or home inspection"
I will be saving you title company info, thanks.

I've seen the work of a couple of the home inspectors. The one I really like is J.R. Raspel. He's thorough, doesn't rush, actually gets on the roof and doesn't seem to miss much (if anything). You can reach him at 888/730-2272 or contact@bestpropertyconsultants.com (his website is www.BestPropertyConsultants.com).

(Nothing like a German to nitpick a house to death. )

Thumbs up

The one we used was fantastic, The Village Home Inspector, he opened everything up, explained what he was looking at. Provided pictures of the whole inspection.

He also used an Infrared Camera, so he could see inside the walls and ceilings, never saw that before.

The report was printed right after the inspection and was also sent to us online.

It is a husband and wife team who live in The Villages.

He also teaches Home Inspection courses to the other home inspectors, so he knows his stuff.

Their number is 352-446-5028
Website is www.thevillagehomeinspector.com
