We are from the Chicagoland area and finally after more than 3 yrs we have sold our home and are headed to TV next wk. We have bought a spec home in V of Charlotte. I'm so nervous and excited at the same time. Hope to meet you soon.

Where are you from around Chicago and where are you moving in Charlotte? There is a Chicagoland club if you are interested. We are also in Charlotte, originally from Chicago (the city).:BigApplause:

Thanks to all for your good wishes. We first moved to Hoffman Estates in 1973 and over the yrs had 3 homes in HE. Been in Schaumburg many times. We now are in a Del Webb Community in Huntley which is west of Elgin. Soon to be a Villager.

Oh Forgot! We are moving into a spec home on Kindle Avenue. We close on Wednesday but our moving company won't be there until 10th-12th.

judynsc -- I go past Huntley on I-90/Jane Addams Tollway on the way to my dad's house in Iowa. I've only been to the Del Webb community in Huntley once several years ago to drop off a former member of my church who moved to Del Webb. You are lucky that you will soon be a Villager. I have a few years to go before that happens.

My wife and I close on our home in Charlotte in two weeks, Will be on Fieldstone Path, Good luck with your move and I am sure at some point we will run into each other.....We are excited.

Welcome to The Villages and The Talk of The Villages. We are on Vandenberg Court which is off Yarborough but they say our home is in The Village of Sanibel. You will love it. This forum is great for many recommendations. Hope we meet soon.
