Default Donating Canned Goods

We're cleaning out the pantry of our resale - we closed yesterday, we're snowflakes now!!! - and there are cans we'd like to donate, like peas - I HATE PEAS - is there a place we could drop off our unwanted, perfectly good cans of food??? Or is there a drive of some sort, that we should wait for.
Thanks for the info!

Try the Wildwood Food Pantry...
The Wildwood Food Pantry is a ministry shared by NCUMC and Wildwood UMC. Bags of Food are distributed from the Wildwood UMC located at 300 Mason Street on the first and third Fridays of every month. People in need living in north Sumter County, an area that includes Oxford, Wildwood, Coleman, and Sumterville benefit by receiving this supplemental food. Volunteers are needed to help with the sorting of food donated by churches, neighborhood groups and from other community food drives. Cash contributions are always welcome. Checks can be made out to NCUMC, with WW Food Pantry in the memo line. Food contributions can be placed in the Food Pantry chest that is available in the church Narthex.
CONTACTS
Don and Marlene Huggins

For more information please call the church office at
(352) 750-4529
UMC must be a United Methodist Church, but not sure where this church is located in Wildwood.

You can take the canned goods to any Championship pro shop. They (the golf division) are having a food drive this week through sunday to benefit the above mentioned wildwood food pantry. Hope this helps.....much shorter drive

Saw in the paper this morning that the food drive contributions can also be dropped off at the Starter's Shacks through Sunday.
