Default One week from Tues....

we close on our new home in the Village of Charlotte. We are moving into the house that afternoon. My wife and I have our home here in Atlanta under contract and close on 8/17, we have our rental house here on the market and have traded cars (two for one). Now if the move goes well we will be in TV next Tues. The next purchase will be a golf cart. Can't wait! we

I hope everything goes well during the closing.

Congrats on the new home and best wishes as you start living the dream.

We have lived in Atlanta for 25 years. We purchased this small home 19 years ago and lived there for only two years. I am just tired of renting the place and dealing with the tenants. We have never had a problem renting but I do not want to keep putting the money in to keep up repairs. We are ready to cash in although the capitol gains taxes are going to be a pretty big hit. I considered doing a 1035 transfer but that is just deferring what has to be paid later. Having rental property in Atlanta and living in FL is not what we want to do.
