I use a four panel slider system from Ikea. When I change my paint color I change the fabric on the panels.

Yes, Joy Blinds is local. They are affiliated with a local flooring company.
We love our blinds. Rooms are darker when closed. Installation was perfect. Long wait for supplies though.

I'm curious how plantation shutters could be installed on a slider, unless they were a separate slider on a parallel track

This is what ours look like.

I'd love to see what these look like if you could post a pic. Thx.

We have electric blinds. We only close them at night or if we are going away for an extended period.

Has anyone put plantation shutters on their slider? If not what have others covered them with.

I put plantation shutters on 3 large sliders and would never put them on sliders again. They must be closed to slide them open so if you have an 8’ wide slider, and the shutters are 2’ wide, 2 ‘ of your slider will always be closed. Also ours didn’t have anything to hold them in place at the bottom so they kind of wiggle at the bottom. Plantation shutters in windows are great, I have them, but sliders NEVER! They just don’t work like you think they will… hope you can find something else.

Yours seem to be a different style than ours. We do not have these issues.
