I thought this issue was solved with 60 posts back in June of 2011!

IMHO, I think the stickers on the mailboxes don't look as tacky as the house numbers on the windows.

God forebid you need emergency services at night you will be happy that the reflective numers are there. It's the first place they look and minutes can be crucial.

If you have to ask, you probably would not understand.

Easier to use a label maker and paste the box number on your key than to get the Post Office to change.

Not a great security move if you lose your key.

After 79 posts, this thread reminds me of a gerbil on an exercise wheel, never going anywhere. :Screen_of_Death:

let the usps or the cleaning service scrape off all of the stickers. the stickers are sloppy looking and the mailboxes are not our property anyway so...get over it. if you cannot find your own mailbox...well, you have bigger problems than what a sticker can solve.

It could all be solved with HOME DELIVERY!

Instead of all those cars and carts driving to the mail center, you'd have just one vehicle making a short as possible pass around the neighborhood.

Save gas and save the environment....:MOJE_whot:

Yes.....so let's see. Is passive/agressive "rudity" "partial rudity"? Is strong, direct rudity "full frontal rudity"!?

Stickers on mailboxes allow residents to show a little bit of individuality, even humor and joy. It seems harmless to me.

It IS harmless, but how do they drive in the roundabouts :loco:

Obviously some posters don't live in neighborhoods with a lot of mentally and sight impaired residents. When the USPS has to start delivering more and more mail to homes because people can't locate their mailboxes, they'll get over the sticker problem.
