There are many people who use the bathrooms at the pools, not just construction workers. The Villages provides jobs daily for hundreds of outside workers: the people who shingle your roof, trim your trees, repair your air conditioners, mow your lawns, paint your exteriors, install your shutters, repair your golf carts, workers from Seco and Teco and Comcast.

All these worker bees occasionally need to use bathroom facilities. I think it's a little inhospitable to expect them to hold it all day. I don't want them peeing in my yard. I see nothing wrong with them using pool bathroooms provided they clean up after themselves and don't leave their dirty workbooks lying around.

there are lots of porta potties in the new construction sites. of course if they are going to/from the job site and they have to go...let them use the pool restrooms.
there are more important things to worry about.

Please people, have some compassion and kindness in your heart. These workers work hard and it's not a big deal for them to use our bathrooms.

We live in a lovely community which is maintained by these under paid human beings. I say thank you for your hard work and thank you for keeping my community looking splendid.

I was at a pool recently when a local landscaper came in and used the bathroom, then as he was leaving I spied a snake slithering around the pool deck area. The guy calmly and voluntarily cornered the snake and ushered it out of the pool area. Good trade off.

Are you serious?? Why don't we just get servant quarters for the poor, wretched souls? How dare they think that they can use the accommodations that we sainted Villagers pay our $145.00 a month for??? Just try watching these young people working up on the roofs of the homes in 90 degree + weather to make sure we have the wonderful homes we have. Give me a break...if you are so offended then put in your own pool and prohibit the 'unclean' from using your personal bathroom.

While some worker bees may leave dirt from their work boots in the bathroom they do need a place to do their business. I see all kinds of workers using the pool potty......Seco, T&D pools, lawn maintenance workers, landscapers, Massey Lawn care......all kinds of people. I believe that "someone" comes around to clean the bathrooms daily?? So, that would take care of any mess made by workers. I see maintenance people using the golf course bathrooms too. No harm, no foul. I assume people aren't going into a public restroom without shoes??? Oh wait, I saw a person pull up on a golf cart at Palmetto golf course and walk into the men's room barefoot.....
