Also download the app NewsOn so you can watch local "north news" or local Florida news.

Of course, you will need internet service to do this.
I looked into this and found Sling and Hulu cost $65 a month if you want local channels. You still need wifi at $50 or more a month
In my case cable and wifi was $125 per month, not much of a savings
If you can get the local channels On in Antenna for free. Then purchasing Hulu at $6.95 per month, is a big savings

Way down south there you should get Orlando stations well, especially since they upgraded to UHD.
Aim the antenna toward Bithlo Fl, where the antenna farms are located. 113 degrees on the compass from my house. Raise it up at least 20 feet above ground level, 25 feet is better. I use an amplified “Yagi” antenna Amazon sells for about $30. I get 75 or 80 channels. And no, there are no local government, county, state, or village restrictions or deed covenants that can interfere with using a TV antenna, though good taste and common sense should govern how, where, and what you mount.

Attic antenna didn’t work for us. Needed one on the roof. And yes, roof antennas are allowed by federal law. TV cannot over rule that.

Why are you putting your antennas in the attic. You are cutting your own reception down.

Could it be interference from all those hi tension monsters?

Attic antennas won't work because of metal roof shielding.

Default What metal shielding?

What metal shielding? The Villages builder starting putting radiant solar barrier in attics around 2015 but later stopped doing that. My home built in 2020 does not have any radiant solar barrier.

You need to put an antenna on your roof!

I recommend Les Allier @ Custom TV and Satellite (400) 913-9947..
