Garage for golf cart

Barely. TIGHT SQUEEZE You will REGRET not having a golf cart garage. I suggest you don’t go there or get rid of one of the cars

I never realized courtyard villas had two car garages. I thought they were all car and golf cart. Learn something new everyday!

Yes, but you will have to stack the golf carts

If you look at the models with 2 garage doors instead of one wide single garage door. In the floor plan drawing it shows to be about two or three feet wider and one side is two feet deeper. That’s what we did. It works great for us with SUV on one side and two golf carts staggered on the other side. We still have room for workbench and shelving storage. Oh yeah and two bicycles. In a perfect world a three or four car garage would be great but it all adds up. Good luck.

They told me I had a stretch 2 car garage. One look and I told them that is a stretch to call that a 2 car garage.

Really!? What’s funny about that comment? It didn’t offend me, but I thought the comment was odd.

OP only has ONE car, a Jeep Cherokee. And as Sheldon Cooper would say " Yes it should fit fine sorry to here you own a jeep, that was sarcasm wasn't it?"..

We moved here in June and our 2019 Lincoln Navigator and Mazda Miata barely fit into the double car garage. We had to unload the SUV in the driveway or back it in as the back could not be raised inside the
garage. We had to be very careful opening the doors to keep from hitting the other car or wall. We ended up getting rid of the Navigator and got a Lincoln Nautilis
Now we need to get rid of the Miata if we want a golf cart. You will definitely need a double car with golf cart garage and perhaps an extended garage. This garage is much smaller than our double garage back home. We’re sorry we didn’t get the larger one.

Good luck with that. Back north a two car garage was 24 feet wide - that was the standard. Down here, you are lucky if you get 20 feet without paying to have the garage expanded. In fact, I don't know if you can even do that anymore since you can't "design" your own home. With a Jeep Cherokee, you'll be lucky to even get a golf cart in beside it and have room to get out of the Jeep!

Bigger garage

As others have stated a tape measure is your best friend when making the decision. A larger garage is better, think about what may be stored in the garage other that your Jeep and carts. This can affect the decision greatly. We have a 3 car expanded and it gets tight with the cabinets we added for additional storage.

A "Normal" two car garage is about 20' x 20'. Two 2 seater golf carts can easily fit.

If you are driving around looking at courtyard villas, count the number of horizontal garage door panels. 8 panels means it is a 2 car garage, 6 panels is a one and a half car garage.

Our patio villa only has room for my Mazda CX-9 and a golf cart, and that’s snug!
