Age is just a number here in 'The Villages". I have friends of all ages and we all get along.

My hubby and I are full time residents, and we are 49 and 53 years old. We are having a blast! My friends here range in age, but no one seems to care how old anyone is here. We all just want to have fun!

I thought one of the owners had to be 55? They say 55+ community?

I was told that 20% of the population could be under 55 years of age.

Thanks for your post becasue I have been worried about the same thing. Hubby is 58, me 48 and I worry also as we plan to live in TV full time next year. I must say that all of my neighbors in Amelia are wonderful and much older but they dont care so neither do we! Was thinking about what one post said about keeping up with what YOU like to do, ...Great advice, thank you! I think we all need that reminder because we all tend to want to fit in no matter where we move. I think that is what I love the most about TV, everyone just seems to fit in with so many wopnderful hobbies, clubs, etc....Looking forwrad to meeting all the other "teen's" in TV !

Don't you worry about a thing wlou because we will all enjoy each other no matter what! I can't wait to get through all this horrendous moving and downsizing. I have a basement FULL of "stuff" and am well aware that there won't be a basement to hoard things anymore. I will simply have to salivate over the fact that you are 10 years younger. Actually, I LOVE that. Love to have a "younger" person's perspective on things. Enjoy your age you young Chicky Poo! Also will be in the Village of Amelia and we can wave to each other from our lanai!
