I explained and his words were you are going to hate it .... Florida is way to hot. No use trying to explain, he had his mind made up. My last day is Dec. 23rd. Wish I had a dollar for every person who told us just how much were gonna hate it in Florida. I guess time will tell.

If he/she was not happy for you, it is not worth staying and working for someone who truly does not have your best interest at heart.

Your bosses words would have told me it was time to move on.

All the anxiety about moving will die down and then you can stop worrying and be happy.

You may still miss the seasons but can always go back and visit.
We have been in FL for seveb years this week but am fortunate to spend 4 months back in Harbor Springs, MI.
Our second home or anyones for that matter is an expense especially when only used for 4 months. Actually so os FL for only living in it for 8 months.
No rush but we do talk about going to 1 home someday and that will be back to MI!
We would then travel; visit kids in TX and save lots of $$$.
FL is nice but too hot and humid from June through Oct.

Hi. We live about an hour north of Albany. Target moving date is first/second week for June. Can't wait!

I'm a central New York resident but spent many years hiking up North.

As a ADK 46R #1256 climbed them all over 4000 plus Slide,Hunter and McNaughton . Finished long ago when the knees were much younger. 1985.:wave:
