Default Where is the best place to take a sick pet after hours?

Are there any emergency or walk in vets in TV? Does anyone have any recommendations for or against certain clinics?

We use Buffalo Ridge Animal hospital during business hours. I suspect one has to have established a relationship with them prior to an emergency.

It sounds like from your user name you’re in the south side. I only know if one emergency clinic for after hours, which is on the north side.

Hope this helps.

When Buffalo Ridge was bought by a national corporation, they shut down the after-hours emergency service. You are correct that UrgentVet is the only one in TV.

If your pet is really sick or injured don't waste time trying to find an urgent care vet in our area. Load your pet into the car and head to the University of Florida's Small Animal Hospital in Gainesville. Yes, it's about a one and one-half hour trip but they are wonderful. They will take emergencies 24/7. There is an additional emergency fee, and plan to be there for quite a long time, but their care and knowledge can't be beat. We have used them several times, with our dog and with our cat.
(352) 392-2235. Address is 2089 SW 16th Ave., Gainesville FL. Fastest route is I-75 North.

If you’re on the southern end of The Villages, Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Leesburg, 33040 Professional Drive (behind Comcast on 441) is open 24/7.
