It depends what area he/she is in, how far is the carrier cell tower. At times is also good to shut off the cellular for about 10 minutes and turn it on. When was the last time the cellular was updated!!! We had Verizon for over 20 years with no issues.

I have lived in three homes in TV all up north and cellular service in all three was poor at best. I know where the closest towers are but the rolling terrain seems to degrade reception in many spots. Having wifi calling on the phone helps a lot at home.

T Mobile gave/loaned us a booster that fixed the problem.

I heard that Xfinity offers a good price for cell if you have their internet. Is their cell service good? We'll move here in a month.

Thanks
The Xfinity service offers a discount especially when you include your television service. However, Xfinity cell service is in fact Verizon's. The reason we have poor cell service in some areas of the Villages, is because we don't have enough cell (antennas) towers.

Xfinity uses the Verizon platform. We have Xfinity and have had good coverage everywhere in the Villages.

Just pulled the trigger on Xfinity. Combining Internet with Cell Service and saving $120 per month over Spectrum and AT&T. Thanks for the feedback.

My wife and I switched to Xfinity mobile a little over a month ago, we love it! We have the by the Gig plan and share 1 gigabyte of data at $15/mo. Last month our bill was a little over $16 after taxes & fees. Our total data usage for the month was .5 gig.
