Default yard debris

Every time I've been to TV everything is beautiful...I'm wondering how residents dispose of yard debris--grass clippings when we have them, shrub/flower/tree trimmings, weeds that have been pulled from flower beds...I don't see compost piles/bins in anyone's yards, so what do residents do with the debris? Thanks for the input!

Part of your monthly trash fee includes one pickup per week of lawn debris...has to be in brown lawn waste paper bags. Works pretty well!!!

Where do I get these brown lawn paper bags? Are they sold somewhere special?
