Default District Office information on trash pick up this holiday weekend

Based on where you live in the Villages, your trash pick service may be affected this holiday weekend. Here is information from the District Office:

Community Development Districts 1-11
If you live in the communities of Sumter, Marion, or Fruitland Park there will be no sanitation or recycling services on Monday, Nov. 12. If Monday is your normal collection day, then you will have collection Saturday Nov. 10. Don't forget to have your trash out no later than 6 A.M.

Community Development District 12, Village of Fenney

If your service is provided by Waste Management, then there will be no interruption to service. If you have any questions, call Finance Customer Service at (352)-750-0000.

Lake County of the Villages
If you live in the Lake County area, contact Lake County Solid Waste at (352)-342-3776 for service information. If you are located in Lady Lake, contact Waste Management at (352)-787-4416.

You are asking the TOTV Admin. and not the District Government??? Always better to go to the horses mouth.

Village Community Development Districts This is where you will find your answer. While there consider signing up for "e-notifications"

FROM THE SITE LINKED:

I agree, their website was incorrect. It does not have Veterans Day as a scheduled holiday. On the Fenney schedule it says it is a normal pickup day. I had mine out, no neighbors did, I then checked the website & it was not listed as a holiday so I brought it back in. [emoji35]

Well, they did pick up the recycling on Saturday but left the other trash still sitting there. Don’t know when they’ll be back to pick it up
