Another hurdle is clear to establish Florida’s first naval warship museum in Jacksonville. This week the City of Jacksonville (COJ) Waterways Commission voted unanimously to approve the request by the Downtown Development Authority (DIA) to oversee the Development and Licensing Agreement to operate the USS ADAMS Museum at the Shipyards Property. JHNSA will appear before the Finance Committee and the RCD/PHS Committee with the full City Council vote expected August 12th.
