I'm not much on writing or reading for that matter. I've been busy because I've taken a really good look at how much yard work needed to be done and was surprised. I figure if I get all this done and I fall victim to the virus at least I'll go out with the best looking yard in the villages, well almost. After reading a lot of these posts I noticed we are all getting a little testy with each other. We've all had our daily social routines change and it's natural to start bouncing of the walls if we let it get to us. This occurred through no fault of our own and it's a test of our will. Let's fight together and not give this ******* [COVID-19] the satisfaction. I'm off to buy plants and pressure washing cleaner.

The Anytime Fitness on 44 reports on their website members have the option can freeze or cancel you membership. However, there appears to be no way to contact them. As such, unsure and maybe unfair but appears to be a Covid-19 business plan to keep direct member billing in place, regardless that many/most of their members are retired seniors. If anyone knows how or has been successful contacting them, please reply.

Hey, everyone is stressed and out of their comfort zone. But responses should be RESPECTFUL to the fellow human on the other end. That said, I'm not Amish, so not really into turning the other cheek. We should just try to relax and take this a day at a time.

The real reason for so much incivility, rudeness and plain meanness on TOTV, and other social media, is the anonymity of those messaging. It simply brings out the worst in people. How much name calling do you think there would be if you had to sign your name and phone number to each post?

Here is the latest projections for Florida's peaking during this Pandemic: Researchers from the University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics created graphs showing how COVID-19 or the coronavirus is projected to impact every U.S. state and Florida is expected to become the next epicenter, behind New York, but is not expected to peak until May 6. Anyone want to take a guess as to why we are lagging behind the other states. Open beaches, no enforcement of isolation and no curfews is my best guess. If we do not get onboard with the mitigation requirements, Florida will have a huge loss of life as the large portion of the population have most or all of the high risk health issues.

You are right. I don't view any other "social" sites and I'm not on Facebook. I guess there are alot of disappointing postings that I don't see all across the web. I've been on ToTv long enough to know the posters I wouldn't want to get stuck sitting by at a local tavern. I've only recently started using the ignore feature for certain members.

Golfing is the same as walking or carting while carrying sticks. Maintain social distancing and it's as safe an outdoor activity as any of the others listed.

I am concerned that too many people will fail to read the part of the stay-at-home order that says some outdoor activities are OK and will barricade themselves indoors. Stay at home in this context does not mean don't go outside. It means avoid personal contact with potentially contaminated people or objects.

Fresh air and sunshine are good for body and soul. There are many outdoor activities we can enjoy in perfect safety. Just follow the CDC guidelines.

while i would normally agree with you, these are most unusual times. the shelves are so empty in our end of town, you end up wandering from store to store looking for basic needs. ex: 1 store had milk, but was out of bread, 2nd store had bread but both were out of dish detergent. (??) not sure why people are hoarding Dawn. i wish we COULD go back to the once a week shop like normal-it's very frustrating under these conditions

Golf is allowed? I guess this means that you should go by yourself and walk the course. Because there are no golf cars made with seats keeping people 6 feet apart. Who is kidding who?
