I don't know whether Sumter County has the "authority" but it seems like "they" have reason to do it to protect our lives. Don't other counties in Florida have similar orders? I am not concerned about people telling me what to do when I know it is to my best interest and to others best interest as well.

It's not an order - it's an advisory.
I don't resent it, because the advisory is in place to save lives.
As Graciegirl said, it's in the best interests of all people.
Please stay safe during this difficult time.

I tried to order my regular multivitamin and stocks were very low or sold out -- guess more folks are thinking about their overall health?

Paper towels aren't a necessity but they are handy, especially with increased levels of disinfecting/cleaning. I defaulted to buying white multifold towels typically used in dispensers in public restrooms. 4,000 towels for around $20.

For some time now, since it became apparent that the distancing was good advice, our golfers have been driving their carts alone, and the courses have allowed them to take four carts in a foursome. The holes are filled, so no reaching in. Six feet apart distancing at the beginning hole. I pray those procedures will keep the golfers safe and us safe too.
