Am not sure how you can expect anyone on this board to know something like that.

Unless you quote the post you are referring to nobody will have a clue what you mean.

Default Construction Timing

Per a recent article (without delays from the accidental death) the expected completion of this project was LATE FALL 2023. So no quick completion . . . .

Those of us familiar with the “Big Dig” in Boston may disagree.

I was told when we lived up north, the construction company's only controls were
the barriers are placed, and a private company puts them up and removes them.

Don't know about that in Florida

Default Construction in the south should be much quicker

Up north you have cold temps to deal with. Plus the terrain is a lot more rugged, hills, ledge, etc.

I disagree. They're still working on road projects in Virginia that were being done when I left there 8 years ago.
The crews got the road widened between Tampa on I-75 pretty fast.

The Villages construction crews would have completed it a year ago. If they offer no incentive to finish early, the only incentive is to bleed the project funds dry.

There certainly aren't the every-winter/spring frost heaves and pot holes everywhere down here as there are up north! Less yearly maintenance needed...

The OP was probably just hoping someone saw or read something about what was going on or an update.
