Yes to AAA
AAA has helped me many times.
When I was younger and traveled a lot, I used the AAA TripTix, Free Map, and reservations services. I also used their travel agents to book several cruises. They did an excellent job. In the last few years, as I have been less able to perform certain tasks, I upgraded my membership to Premier. I have actually had to use the 100 mile free towing since living in The Villages. That saved me a lot of money. Remember, too, that you need not be the owner or the driver of the car that has a problem. Simply being a passenger gives coverage for the car. I am very much in favor of AAA membership. |
I still have the dealership plan until December but plan on renewing AAA Plus membership, that includes a 100 mile radius.
I always like the idea of, if I were to get stuck, I still might be within the 100 mile radius to get my car back to a repair shop, of my choice. With getting maps for free and booking vacations, I think they offer a lot for $100? I'm guessing the annual membership fee, as I haven't had them in two years. The $100 is worth it, for one's peace of mind. This should be a no brainer. IMHO |
We have had AAA 100 mile plan and are pleased with it. Before we moved to TV we had AAA Mid-Atlantic. When we switched to AAA in TV the yearly cost went down over $20 a year if I recall correctly for the same coverage.

AAA has never let me down. Flats, dead batteries and some other matters, they have always come through and with people who show up and get the job done right!
