Attached is my response to a similar query in late 2013 recommending Donna Stegmeier. My husband and I continue to use Donna and value her advice regarding our medical insurance. She's one of "us" and finds the insurance with the facilities/doctors you want in your plan. Her phone is 352-350-7135.

After a lot of research during open period last year we discovered Blue Cross had the best Part F plan. Plan F has consistent benefits from all over the country the only difference is what the company charges.

Rates are based on the zip code you live in. If you sign up at age 65 then you will forever pay the same rate as someone age 65 will pay. You will not pay more because you are 68 etc. You will only pay the increased amount that a 65 year old would pay for that year. A little complicated.

We used Misty Kinsey with Florida Blue Alliance Associates

You can compare on your own on multiple internet sites. Here's a couple.

I was told to also consider plan G. It's supposed to be the same as plan F except it has a $147 deductible but you'll save it in premiums. If you have health problems you want to find a supplement with a history of low price increases because once you accept a supplement no other supplement has to let you switch. Plan G's have had less price increases. I was also told to stay away from Advantage plans. I don't know why and after being told that I haven't bothered looking at them yet. I think you have to pick a dr and being a snowbird that wouldn't work for us.
