Default Ahh, Skyline Chili from Publix

What's not to like about Skyline Chili on spaghetti, with shredded cheddar, and onions? Thank you Publix for carrying this lovely food in the freezer section. Not many things ring my bell from my time at Univ of Cincinnati in the 60's, but Skyline and LaRosa's Pizza do it for me.

I would have never thought to look for that in the freezer section, thanks for the tip. I will have to pick some up.

Love it. Can do without Graeters Ice Cream. When we go home we also bring back canned Mock Turtle Soup and Goetta.

Just picked up a package today. Haven't tried it yet. But, the only problem is that a 13.25 OZ package contains 2,120 MG of sodium. Why does almost everything frozen or canned need to have so much sodium?

During our time here in Ohio during Thanksgiving we had some pizza from LaRossa's. Some of the best pizza I've ever had.

That is a lot. Usually sodium is listed as amount per serving, not per package which makes it a really a lot.

It is listed as 1,060 MG per serving, which is half a package, but half of the package looks like a very small serving.

I just picked one up at Publix today. My husband loves making his own chili so it will be interesting to see if he likes it.

I agree. Chili on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Pizza on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. On Sunday, I eat whatever I want.

I split the serving making two portions. 2nd portion, today, went for a out of sight chili dog. So guess that's a double sodium hit all at once, but it was good (and I skipped the bun, so that helped).
