Just don't try and pay for it using points! It won't accept it, won't let you change it and you'll get locked out after 3 tries! If you do get locked out, you can send an email to veteransday@amazon.com with the following information:
First/Last Name
Date of Birth
Current status (active duty, veteran, retiree or reserve)
If veteran/retiree, discharge month and year
If active duty, your .mil email address

and done!

Thanks for that information. My discount was $40.00. The annual amount of $119.00 was reduced to $79.00. Wonder what you had to do to get a 40% discount.

Thanks for this. I went on "my account" and added the year for $79.70. I emailed my brother in PA and he updated his too. I wonder why I never saw a message on this from Amazon.
