THANKS for that interesting link! I suffer from seasonal allergies and this has been a bad summer for me.

One would think the pure Oregon air would be good for breathing....... most of the time it is, except for the pollen; however, when it is not fire-danger season people are allowed to burn their yard clippings, leaves, felled trees - and it really fouls up the air, especially if it's a neighbor and the wind is blowing my way!
