Default Is anyone COLD

Not to bore you with all my research, but it appears that the next few days will bear out to be one of the coldest March seasons in recorded history. I am sure that by 1 April we will be informed about the weather of March 2013 making some of us say, yea right April fools. But its no joke, this is a record cold setting March.

I did the research specifically on Central Florida; however, since all our cold weather is delivered via Fronts out the north, I would believe that many states above us should have similar findings.

It was 50 here yesterday and we were roasting.........it's all relative.
But, read below:

Blurt: The Seven Days Staff Blog: USDA's New Plant Hardiness Zone Confirms Vermont Is Getting Warmer

While you all feel colder..........we all have been feeling warmer..........last winter and this winter, although we did have some really cold days but not like it used to be.

It says here that our climate is becoming “temperate” like Virginia ???????????????????? And..........possibly warm up to the climate of Georgia? More peach cobbler??? No more maple syrup?

USDA’s new plant hardiness zone confirms Vermont is getting WARMER............now we just have to wait for New Hampshire to fall into the ocean. Then we will be "beachfront". We do follow the Florida weather and notice that the temps have been much colder than when we lived down there...........our kids wore shorts in the winter and never needed a coat.

It's definitely true about more RAIN than SNOW as well................It never rained in the winter like it has the past 5 years or so.........

Our weather used to be VERY VERY PREDICTABLE. Every mid January was the January "thaw". The snow would melt off but then more snowfall would arrive. Not anymore.
It rains all the time........although this year we did get some snow BUT NOT AS MUCH as the states south of us. Very very strange. Last year both Vermont and Colorado lacked SNOW.

Default Burr....

I'm cold! My core needs some nice warm weather which, starting today, looks like Mother Nature is going to cooperate. Starting today low 70's and climbing each day from there. Up to 88 by Tuesday. Now that's more like it!

I also don't remember having to shovel anything from the driveway and sidewalk.

No scientific poll but it has been a very cold March in CT. Today started off in the thirties and it felt relatively warm. This weekend might get to the fifties. I'll have to resist the urge to go outside without a jacket.

I'm enjoying the current weather. Not looking forward to what's ahead, so I'm enjoying it now.
