I wouldn't give a hoot about using Non-OEM part to repair my car as long as they were not from certain sources which I will actively be watching when I remember on all items we use. Especially a car repair.
Try handing a Leased vehicle back in at the end in pristine condition with a Non-OEM Windshield installed and a sharp inspector taking the car back. It would be an expensive mistake. When I insisted on OEM Glass on a 2015 Transit Connect the insurance Adjuster thought I was nuts. I prevailed and it's a good thing I did cause the women who took the car in was born to snag people on inspections. I like what retiredguy and Chatbrat posted about no uninsured motorist. Definitely worth investigation. Wouldn't it just be like an Insurance Company to take advantage of their clientele? One last company to check Chubb Ins. I like the name and drove by one of their offices every day for years, do you think that will get me a discount? Kasper, I'm desperately trying to get away from the Villages Insurance. Their lip service doesn't match their actions. I'll cut my own deals. Thank You! So disappointed in them. Last edited by Nucky; 05-28-2020 at 06:15 AM. |

Quit looking for something to argue about. The commercials were examples. I did not say use Allstate. Just giving you something to consider. You asked people for information, people give it........and you argue. Unreal.

Just wantt to say premiums can and do change for no other reason fan marketing and quote-unquote the market meaning they want to make more money that next year. I had Geico for 6 years I jumped from 600 to 900 in my next 6-month policy. I called Geico and they were down $800 total from the new Geico quote. It did go up after 6 months a couple of hundred bucks has I guess they had a teaser rate for me to switch. I always suggest you check her insurance your cable and any other contracts you have before you renew with other competitive sources. Even life insurance rates go up and down

You will also be surprised to learn that your cable bill can change easily from vendor to vendor and especially CD rates at the bank as well as your regular savings accounts can be vastly different from bank to bank. Unfortunately we can't switch electric or water companies so easily. It's really funny and so many people when they go shopping for food every week we'll check the price an tuna fish and switch brands for $0.03 but won't check some really big things I can save them hundreds of dollars.
Especially credit card rates. did you know even with a auto loan you can refinance and save a few points that can easily be 1 or $200 a year on a 5-year loan |

I only take advice from people who know what they are talking about not because they think they know...No expertise -- -- first I look at the number of posts - many posts to me means "think they know all about everything and nothing about anything" Ever been with a group of people and one person thinks he knows everything. "Jack of all trades and master of none"

Nice job!
Very useful research. I was with Liberty Mutual. Great service, but pricy. I then comparison shopped and came up with Safeco as the winner. I then compared that to Geico and Safeco remained in the lead. If you're so inclined, consider adding Safeco to the list and post. Thanks |

I have had Geico for ten years. Every five years, I do comparison shopping and have not been able to beat their prices. I also dropped uninsured motorIst coverage because of the duplication with my medical insurance.

If you're carrying limits of $250,000, it usually means that you have assets. You should talk with the company you choose about an umbrella, which protects your assets, should you cause a catastrophic accident. Also, if you have multi-lines coverage with the company, you should get a further discount. I also have glass coverage with no deductible, which has come in handy, when a rock hits my windshield.

For starters they do not Nickle & Dime should you have a claim. That said you need to qualify to be considered by USAA. |

Yes, I’m a little confused on that one too. They said $700. for 1 yr. through Geico & double that amount for 6 months. Really!

My Allstate is $440.00 x 2 for the year for pretty much the same coverage listed here.
