2 years ago we hit a deer in Wyoming.
No problem getting a rental car and damages repaired. Til we got back from Seattle to Sheridan Wyoming, the ins co (Travelers thru the Villages) in 2 weeks, the car was fixed and the garage was paid.
I had a sideswipe(my fault) no problems with the ins last year
on June 14 this year we were hit by another car(not our fault) and Travelers has been wonderful taking care of everything for us and dealing with the other ins co for us. I can't say enough about how I was treated by Tara at Travelers who takes care of medical claims. She was caring and efficient.
By the way, we got rid of that green car now (bad luck)

So we R waiting for those NY polices to expire.

Jimbo-- The Villagers Insurance was lower than NY rates or higher?

I am an insurance agent here on Long Island now going to move but can offer some advice. Comprehensive fire & theft protects against something falling on the vehicle such as a tree, the vehicle getting stolen or in anyway vandalised also covers glass breakage. You will choose a deductible which is your out of pocket expense. The collision protects against damage to the vehicle when it is contact with something else( another car, or fence, or property). Both of these are first party coverages which means protecting your asset your automobile. Both have deductibles which can vary from $200-$2500 per claim. Hope this clarify's some of your questions.

Can't wait to meet everyone. Moving in October 2013
