Hi everyone,

I'm constantly seeing all these ads on TV for automotive warranties - "I saved $8700 on repairs!!" ... always *sounds* good, but has anyone had any true experience with them? Good? Bad? Scam?

Thanks!

This YouTube video just cameup in my feed.

Talk to service tech in a dealership and they can best answer "the what can happen" question and what they are seeing. My son has worked in a manufactures service center for the last 15 years. Some of the stories he tells about prices of repairs now days are almost unbelievable.

What can happen does not equal I must carry multiple warranties.

A brick falls down from a building do I need policy protecting myself from that?

One way to save big money is to stay away from dealerships, except for original warranty work.
