I do it with Wells Fargo all the time. On the Wells Fargo website they have an option to transfer funds to anyone with an email address. My brother is with Bank of America and I transfer funds to him on a monthly basis. All done electronically.....no paper checks or running to the bank.

This is EXACTLY how it can be done. You do NOT have to have your own account at both banks, only one, but there must be a specific account that you are transferring funds to, of course. It's similar to paying bills online. There are no checks involved. |
