We currently live in Texas and have 2 of these on the trees in the back yard, around the pool. You can place them on fencing, wall, tree....and it REALLY does help with mosquito issues. Bats and Purple Martin Houses (a bird that is VERY social, but not sure if they are in FL or not) are GODSENDS in any area you want to be outside without getting eaten alive!

Have colony of little brown bats in my CYV corner wall. I watches 17 or more emerge one evening late late summer.
