A Go Fund me page, set up by my friends in the Villages.... allowed me to spend the remaining time with my daughter, in the last months of her life. For that I will always be thankful... You don’t have to use them , but many are brought to our attention by media, churches and other social agendas, the well publicized fraud of a veteran caused a lot of bad publicity but go fund me paid every donor the money back . I have found some good people who needed some help through different publicity including a small town policeman and a local nurse . I think you can get more bang for your buck then giving to a church which I also do
