Bob Simon, longtime anchor on CBS Sixty Minutes, died in a car crash yesterday

Yes, so sad. I read it last night on Facebook.

Scott Pelley came on television with a "breaking news" report; he had tears in his eyes ..........

To think of all the war zones Bob Simon covered in his exemplary career of journalism, foreign service, etc..........only to be killed while sitting in a cab that hit a car in front of lower Manhattan I believe????
