Default Boston sports' fans seem to be getting a little spoiled

With the Celtics facing the Lakers in the NBA Championship, Boston sports fans are getting a little spoiled with all the recent Championships in the majors where a Boston team has been present. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Celtics http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007-08...Celtics_season http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007-08..._Lakers_season http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles_Lakers

Did not know that Doris Day was a huge Lakers fan. http://aol.nba.com/features/lakers_celebs_070309.html

As long as we are talking about successes

New York Giants 17 - New England(Boston) Patriots 14

JimT

Sorry Russ, we have so few lately, I need to grasp at what I can.

Boston was in the NFL Championship though and then there are the Boston Red Sox and their Championship season.

It's is OK - spoil us more. I remember last season even the lowly NY Knicks had a better record than the Celtics? It has been 20 + loooooong seasons since the Larry Bird "golden years" Please let us enjoy this while we can.

It's fun to be spoiled! Win or lose, Boston teams have been in the playoffs. When you're a fan, nothings better!!!

You all do deserve to enjoy this time. My comment was designed to show my disappointment in NY teams, with the one mentioned exception, not to disparage Boston teams.

NY's time will come again - but I can't promise to like it.
