I looked at homes in TV this weekend with my husband and am considering moving there in the near future. I was born and raised in Canarsie. Remsen Avenue and Farragut Road. TV seems to be an amazing place!! Where in Canarsie are you from? I probably will join the Brooklyn club when I move there. Tell me how you like living in TV.
Regards....
Lived on Remsen between K and L. Love it here. Live in Sanibel.

My Aunt Anna Umberto and Uncle Tony Umberto lived on 86th Street in Brooklyn, until they died. I believe that would be the Bay Ridge / Fort Hamilton area.

Aunt Anna was my Godmother.......my dad's baby sister. Uncle Tony was in the Navy during WWII.

Anyone familiar with that area? Bay Ridge??? Fort Hamilton. Not sure which, but it was 86th Street.........they owned a two family home which was quite beautiful.

My dad's nephew and his wife also lived in that same part of Brooklyn.....
Ditto for my dad's eldest brother, his wife..........and now their still living daughter.

I was stationed on the Fort Hamilton Army Base in the early '90s. My sons went to school at PS 185 on 86th and Ridge Blvd. Except for the constant noise from the Verrazano Bridge 24/7, I really liked living there. Lots of good memories.

Default ENY and Canarsie

I grew up in ENY, Boulevard Projects, next to the Linden Houses, went to PS 273 and JHS 166 George Gershwin JHS, one year in Thomas Jefferson HS
then moved to Canarsie where I attended and graduated Canarsie HS(71)
Great places to grow up.

Still in Cape Coral Fl. but may be coming fulltime in 2014 to our home in the Village of Santo Domingo!!!!!!!!

You're a bit younger than I am. I graduated in 1964 from Lincoln and my husband graduated Lafayette in 1961.
