I always specify not dealer badges on a new car. I have had them order a factory delivered car more than once because of it. They will do whatever it takes to make the sale.

You might get better service from the dealers service department with the decal on. Same for the next oil change sticker. Some people actually pay to have someone’s name on their clothes.

I tell them you can leave that there as long as you pay me for advertising. So, far none has taken my offer.

Wow, guess don't have any important things to worry about. Or maybe the only thing you have control of?

jswirs 08-21-2021 04:17 AM

Agreed. However, I do allow the dealer to use his name only on a license plate holder, not on any part of the vehicle.

Do you also remove the manufactures name and the model name? How about the Titleist LOGO on tour Golf balls, bags and clothes?

I remove anything that advertises for a dealer.

If you bought the car there they know your car. You will get the same service, good, bad or indifferent.

The dealer didn't make the car.

The LOGO are permanent. We normally don't remove the Chevy emblem, but license plate frames are cheap and stickers come off easily.

I wonder about people for many things. Too many people are certain they are perfect.
I am if you ask me. Just don't ask my wife.

Well said. As said in another post, I am perfect-just don't ask people who know me.
My view, if you care about what people think you give them power that is and should be yours.

I leave the dealer plate holder because it gets me free car washes at the dealer
