Birthdays are not a tradition in my old country. But... Bob Hope is an exception. He was a wonderful, caring individual. He not only supported the troops, he also helped orphaned children as casualties of the war from the OTHER side. The man was a great humanitarian. When I went to look at the Hollywood stars on the sidewalk, his was the first I went to see.
