The scenery must have been beautiful if not the memories associated with them.

It is incredible. I was driving and my girlfriend was navigating but there are turnouts there probably for slower vehicles such as trucks and buses to pull over and let a string of cars by. We stopped and looked from those.

The Amalfie Coast is even more incredible but way beyond me being able to drive and look at the same time.
