I am not sure why we celebrate birthdays of deceased people. Their birthdays cease when their lives cease.

It is a way to remember them and think about their work. Think Christmas, for instance, as well as Easter Sunday.

I’ve often thought of this, deathdays could be more appropriate if it wasn’t so depressing. So, birthdays it will be !
