Default Beat this

This morning, I was changing the blade on my edge trimmer. In doing so, I had to break the cotter pin to get the nut off. I didn't have any cotter pins, so I had to make a dreaded trip to Lowe's on a Saturday to buy some.

I got into my truck and was at the end of the driveway when I noticed a small package laying on the road. I got out of my truck and picked it up.

It was a package of cotter pins that had fallen out of somebody's vehicle.

No way! Is that true or is this one of those posts where we try to top that? Like, this morning I was putting around and realized my Cleavis pin had fallen off.

And of course, you as a law abiding citizen, immediately took the lost package of cotter pins to the proper authorities and proceeded to Lowe's to purchase one.

OMG, I thought you said cleavage pin and just couldn't visualize that! So, I Googled the term for clearification. BTW, is it one of those long pins that some of us use to secure our heads once placed over our necks?
