I wouldn't have missed one intentionally, and have made all of them (five-year increments) over the past 62 years. The first 40 years were a continuation of reminiscing and embellished high jinks we were guilty of, and then years 45-60 were to pay homage to our classmates that had passed and to see which of the ones still around looked older than me (not many).

I hope to remain well enough to attend any future reunions that might be in the plans, but I know others who are becoming burned out from either attending them or being on the planning committees. I imagine I'll grow up one of these days, but my high school years were some of the best times in my life!

I participate in monthly Zoom meetings for high school and college. It is a great way of keeping in touch.

Couldn't make my 50th, so the class president sent me a cd of all the people. I didn't recognize a one of them. Glad I didn't go.:22yikes:

Yes I do return "home" (Norfolk, VA) for HS reunions. Am going back in August for the 60th.

This is GOLD, and describes me exactly, lol, except I never attended any reunions. Once I graduated HS I was done. Moved on, never looked back. No regrets at almost 70.
