How true -- he did fool us all. Wonder if the "nostalgia" TV channels will stop showing reruns of the "The Cosby Show" now. That was a very good, positive show.

Madelaine - to your point about the drugging which does seem strange, I think redwitch may have hit the nail on the head with her post regarding that. No struggle from the victim, no bruises, no proof in that regard......I had never thought of that.

I kind of thought that I would separate comedy from life, because so many comedians have horrible lives, and they’re oftentimes people you don’t admire, or they’re not likable. Yes, thanks, good point - never thought about it like that, which appears to make him even more of a flawed character. He must have got this knowledge or idea from somewhere which makes me think this might have gone back to his college days!!! I suppose you could imagine a group of like minded young people sitting around and just throwing out "stuff".

I second that.

Before I paste a link I always paste it into a new tab in my browser to make sure it works.

that's good advice---i tried deleting all that one line at a time and was getting nowhere---so i copied the paragraph, did ctrl a, backspace, ctrl v---and moved on

I mention this because a couple of old school shortcuts work on the chromebook too and are worth learning.

I still use DOS commands all the time.

Edit an unwanted post and just "Select all" of the content. Then delete. Should take care of such unfortunate accidents. :)
