Any one know if there are any federal tax credits for 2014 for energy efficient air conditioners, furnaces, water heaters, etc?

Here's one resource:
Residential Energy Tax Credits (2014)

Just do an internet search using your post title - there are lots of articles there for your use.

Whomever sold or installed such items for you would certainly have that information including what forms or proof you require to be able to make a claim, if any. Congress did pass and Obama did sign an extension for most of the items that had been allowed in the past. This is a one year extension of all residential credits that existed in 2013. They have not been extended to 2015.
