Not a beach person any more. Would love to vacation in some of the cities of Europe.

white, pink or black sand

Mountain retreat not city ( unless it is somewhere exotic or has fantastic shopping). Keep the beach, too gritty, windy and hit for this lady!
|
not the city!! Too many hassles to get to the worth while part of one.
So I gues I go to the beach as it was the only other choice....as long as I can get an umbrella, smoke a cigar and somebody bring me a drink when I need (another) one. |
Beach or City
Beach !!!!!

Always a beach! Cities are okay but they are not as relaxing as a beach. The waves, the salt smell, the open feeling.

Having grown up on Long Island I grew up at the beach
(Jones Beach). But living in the NYC suburbs made me always want to vacation at beaches. Now that I've lived in Florida 17 years I like going to cities and get my beach fix on cruises. So I guess a litle of both now! |
Neither - I vote for the mountains and that is why I have left The Villages and moved there to be on vacation year round. Whatever floats your boat!
|
The beach for sure.
|
Both - We like relaxing on the beach but still like to visit museums, listen to orchestras, go to theater and so on. Sarasota offers both but then, the appeal of some place yet unknown let's the adventurer in us take over.
