Dance Star Mickey
Okay, fellow TOTVers, I really need your help. My grandson (15 mos), is in love with Mickey Mouse. The first thing he said, "I love you," to was his Mickey doll (not his Mom, Dad or Nana). I've looked high and low and everyone is sold out around here and online. So, I'm hoping maybe someone will get lucky at a store around their neck of the woods. If you're shopping and happen to see a Dance Star Mickey, could you please pick it up for me (regular price is $69.99)? I'll happily pay your costs. THANKS!!

I've found it on Amazon, Red, but goodness, is it expensive. They offer it from a number of sellers, but all charge CONSIDERABLY more than suggested price.
Can't seem to be able to link to the site because it's my account. Guess if it's a popular toy, price seems to go up. You're a good grandmother, Red. Good luck. I know your grandbaby will be thrilled with Mickey.

Yeah, I checked Amazon -- decided $85 was just ridiculous (ebay even worse). The odds of a 15-month-old keeping it for more than 2 months is slim, so only willing to pay the retail price of $69.99 (a sale price would be nice, but hey). Last time I paid scalper prices was for a Furby and we won't even discuss what I went through for that stupid toy (but she does still have and still turns it on on occasion).

I'm on the lookout. Wait until he goes to Disney and sees Mickey in person.

Have you tried the Disney Store? There used to be one in Ocala.

Maybe this will help. The Disney Store has an online catalog (DisneyStore.com)
I didn't see a Dancing Star Mickey, but they have a 17" plush stuffed Mickey for $16.50 and several others at various prices.

Pturner... only problem is that they are currently out of stock but will notify you when they come in. They're also priced less here and I think shipping is free. (not sure about the shipping part tho)

I'm on the email list for toysrus, kmart, walmart, target and even fao schwartz in case they get some in stock. The Disney Store doesn't carry it (HUH????). Given past searches for "hot" toys, the only way I'm going to get my hands on this one is either by paying scalper prices (not gonna happen) or getting lucky when I'm in a store and a shipment has just arrived. That's why I'm asking everyone to be on the lookout and grab one for me if they happen to see one in a store, but it has to be the Dance Star Mickey.

I just returned form Disney today, they wanted 100 plus tax, my daughter was with me and works at Disney part time and with her employee discount I paid 60, my 18 month old grandson loves it. You have to see it to beleave it, has 4 or 5 different dances, sings, and even `moon walks`
