Default Help With Auto A/C

Does anyone know of a specialist in auto a/c work? RItaly has a beloved 2005 Dodge Magnum whose a/c, despite being replaced with brand-new one last year, will only cool the car for two hours, tops. After that, car must be turned off for 45 minutes, after which it will work for another hour or so.

The a/c was replaced with Dodge factory a/c, had the temperature sensor replaced, and all work done by a dealer. Two dealers can't solve the problem. We'd now like to find a specialist--maybe someone over 50 who relies upon his knowledge and experience rather than someone who plugs in a module and says nothing's wrong--who can tear the car apart and either find out what's wrong or replace it. Maybe within an hour's drive.

Replacing the car is not an option. They are no longer made, and it's RItaly's favorite car of all time. He's sucking his thumb every time it's mentioned. he's otherwise in very good shape. (The car, not...well, he's in pretty good shape too.)

While I cannot help with the need for a specialist, I had one of the se cars, absolutely loved it, but we could not come the FL with 5 cars.... Anyway, I have the service manual (8892 pages) on a CDrom if you are interested, let me know.

CFrance - Don't know if this guy does AC - but his 'shop' would be my first try:
Quality Tire & Brake on 466 just west of 441/27 in Lady Lake
Quality Tire & Brake - Lady Lake, FL | Yelp

The place appears like a used car lot - but that is just because of all the customers Vaughn has!

As the 2011 reference states - the phone is rarely answered and it is best to stop by and discuss your needs. He is closed Fri/Sat/Sun. If this man cannot fix the A/C unit, perhaps he knows and trusts someone he can refer you to.
