That is correct. A person licensed to carry a concealed weapon should not take his gun into any portion of an establishment licensed to dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises, which portion of the establishment is primarily devoted to such purpose;
This does not preclude carrying in an establishment that is a restaurant where alcohol is served, just stay out of the area described above.
Also, be aware that this law does not apply to certain people who are qualified to carry under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act, which includes "qualified" active and retired officers. There are hundreds of such officers in The Villages, and there has never been an incident.
